Music Director, Rosemary Allison

Rosemary Allison, the Music Director of the Cecilian Singers since 2005, has had many years of conducting experience with both equal voice and mixed voice choirs.

This includes time as Music Director of St Augustine's Anglican Church in Cashmere, Associate Director of the Cathedral Singers at ChristChurch Cathedral in the Square and conducting choirs at several local secondary schools.

Currently she is both Choral Director and a classroom teacher of music at Christchurch Girls' High School where she directs the well-known female voices of Cantrices and the Cantabile Singers.

Rosemary is also an organist and pianist.
